RAFTING ON THE DRINA RIVER
PROGRAMME
Šćepan Polje - Foča (24 km)
PENDEK TOURS
Departure by bus at 7:00am from the agreed location in Sarajevo (or another location by arrangement). Drive to Šćepan Polje (where the rivers Pliva and Tara join to form the Drina), via Trnovo and Brod na Drini. Arrival in Šćepan Polje at around 9:30am. Refreshments and short briefing by the organiser in preparation for the trip. Departure of the raft at 10:30. During the trip, participants will be served specialities from the Drina basin.
Šćepan Polje
Arrival in Foča around 17:00. Break with coffee. .
Return journey at around 6pm , via Rogatica, with expected arrival in Sarajevo at around 20:00.

COST OF SERVICE
Price per person: € 89 all inclusive (minimum 10 participants)
The price all inclusive includes:
- rafting down the river
- food and drinks included
- insurance for participants and organisational costs.
- all the necessary equipment including lifejackets
- the cost of transporting the group by coach from Sarajevo (or any other agreed point of departure) to Šćepan Polje (100 km) and, on the return journey, from Foča to Sarajevo (or any other agreed point of return), a distance of 80 km, is also included in the above price.
REMARKS
Note: If you prefer to provide your own food and drink, the organiser will provide a free charcoal barbecue and picnic crockery.
Price for such an arrangement:
€40 per person with a minimum of 12 participants.
Inclus
- The maximum number of participants that can be accommodated per day is 100 people or 6 rafts.
- Participants are advised to bring warm clothing, as the evenings by the river are cool.
- The organiser will provide lifejackets.
- The Tara and the Drina are drinkable all along the above routes. The climate is pleasant, temperatures from 25oC to 33oC and it rarely rains. The water temperature is approximately 12oC to 15oC.
- Vegetarian options available.
NOT INCLUDED
- Anglers will need to bring their own tackle.
- No mosquitoes in the canyon.
- Personal equipment: mackintosh, tennis shoes, swimming costume, shorts or sports trousers and anything else you need for your personal needs.
